Working in partnership with St Michael’s Mount and Healthy Cornwall, Tough Dough initiated a series of creative workshops for local families.
Held during the Easter holidays, three full-day sessions took place at Marazion Community Centre, with activities extending to the beach and St Michael’s Mount. Families were referred through Healthy Cornwall, ensuring inclusive and meaningful participation.
Each day balanced indoor and outdoor creative activities, adapting to the weather and group dynamics. The workshops encouraged exploration of the local environment, history, and ecology through hands-on making and playful engagement. Feedback from families and partners was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of fun, creativity, and time spent together in inspiring locations.
